In 1954, the Al Hathboor Group was founded by Mr Saif Obaid Al Hathboor, who forayed into the textile business in the early days. The company later explored new opportunities and expanded its horizons, which led to its tremendous success. As the nation grew, so did the Al Hathboor Group, with their initial business expansion being in the air conditioning and refrigeration space. In the early 1970s, they diversified their trading divisions and gave UAE one of its very first supermarkets.
