I have been living here for two and a half years, and I have not regretted my decision. It is so peaceful all the time, and I am glad I decided to settle down here. The apartments are huge, spacious and airy.
I bought an apartment here as I had to come here as I got transferred here, and I had to rent an apartment here; I got an apartment which was fully furnished at a reasonable price and other facilities in the building like club house, pool access, gymnasium, parking, etc.
I was travelling here with my husband a while back, and I got frustrated with getting stuck in the traffic. It was not even a moving one. We got stuck in it for almost 30 minutes before moving an inch forward. Also, there are too many people and less privacy and space to walk around. I would recommend coming off-season.
I used to drive a taxi here to make a living, and I would say that the Al Twar 1 is very well connected to highways and other essential places. Also, the locals and tourists here are nice and friendly people.
I bought an apartment here as an investment, and I got a good deal compared to other places in UAE, and the ROI is also good. I use it as my vacation home; the area is great to visit.
