I moved to Al Warqaa 4 for the reasonable rents compared to other areas. It’s decent enough for my budget and needs – the nearby Metro helps my commute. But maintenance is lacking, with smelly elevators, peeling wall paint and litter issues. They host community events, though, which helps me feel welcomed.
My family loves Al Warqaa 4! As an Emirati family, we feel it balances modern amenities with traditional community values. The majlis encourages bonding with neighbours. Lots of play areas keep our kids active outdoors. We enjoy Ramadan iftars in the community garden. Easy access to malls and the highlight Gold Souq is great, too!
I relocated here to work as a single expat. The moving process was smooth, and the staff was helpful. But living alone, Al Warqaa 4 feels too remote – it’s far from most social hubs & nightlife. The residents seem mostly Emirati families or expats with kids. As a young single person, I struggle to fit in. Wish more dining out, gym and entertainment options existed locally.
We invested in property in Al Warqaa 4, given its established community. It offers a slow pace of life amidst Dubai’s bustle – the lush trees and chirping birds are calming. But over the years, it hasn’t modernised at par with new developments. Plumbing issues, fading facade, and lack of smart home tech integration should be fixed by owners & authorities.
Born and raised in the area, I have a soft spot for Al Warqaa 4. The old neighbourhood charm remains – friendly smiles and hellos. Prices are reasonable, making it easy to meet neighbours over karak chai. But some negatives like construction mess, inaccessible sidewalks for my wheelchair & lack of parking now exist too. Overall still a lovely community!
