Nakheel Properties is a property development company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company's official name is Nakheel PJSC (Private Joint Stock Company). It is associated with an investment company called the Dubai World and is owned by a private state-owned corporation and partly by the Dubai Government. 

Nakheel Properties had a crucial role in solving the Dubai crisis from the year 2009 to 2010. After Emaar properties, this company has been Dubai's second most prominent real estate developer.
