Founded by a partnership between two creative thinkers, Nasser Al Nowais and Selim El Zyr, in 1992, Rotana is a well-known hotel management company with its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. With a portfolio of over 100 properties in 25+ cities, Rotana is excellently serving its customers in the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and the Balkans area. This privately held company in the Hospitality and Tourism sector opened its first hotel - Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, in 1993 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Four years later, in 1997, Jumeirah Rotana and Al Bustan Rotana were launched in Dubai and Al Rawda Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi. Following the launch of Gefinor Rotana in Beirut, Lebanon in 2000, Rotana decided to branch out of the United Arab Emirates by opening projects in Egypt and Lebanon. Rotana Builders, with a team of experts, plans to grow remarkably from two projects started in 1993 to 80 projects by the end of 2023. With multiple projects planned for opening and new projects in the pipeline, Rotana builders aim to have a Rotana-managed property in all the considerable cities throughout Africa and Eastern Europe within the next five years.
