The Foundation Stage at Sunmarke School, for children aged 3 to 5 (FS1 and FS2), follows the EYFS framework enhanced with STEAM and Positive Education. The admission process at Sunmarke School is straightforward. Follow the steps below for a smooth admission process:

Step 1—Parents are encouraged to visit the campus during open days (July and August) or schedule a tour via the school’s website. The official website also offers a virtual tour option.

Step 2—Complete the online admission form on the school's website. Then, pay the application and assessment fee of AED 500 (non-refundable). If no immediate availability is confirmed, the child's name will be placed on the waiting list for the selected academic year.

Step 3- The following documents are required for the admission process:

• Copy of the child’s passport.
• A copy of the child’s residence visa (if available) is required.
• Emirates ID (both sides) of the child and parents (if available).
• Birth certificate (in English or Arabic).
• Last academic report (from the previous school).
• Transfer certificate (Year 3 onwards) or letter of enrolment (for Years 1–2).

For FS1, there is an Informal interview and assessment.

Years 1–3 will have a formal interview and a mandatory assessment test.

For Years 4 and above, there is a Formal interview, assessment test, and online assessment of verbal, quantitative, and spatial abilities.

If successful, an admission offer will be extended. Within two days of the offer, parents must pay an acceptance fee equal to 10% of the annual tuition fee to secure the seat. This fee is non-refundable but adjusted for the first term's tuition.

Additional Documents (to submit before the first day) include:

• Recent passport-sized photo of the child and parents.
• Original transfer certificate (attested by KHDA if transferring within Dubai).
• Updated immunisation record.
• DHA’s consent form for vaccinations.
  

Transfer Certificate Requirements:

• Transfer within Dubai: Attested by KHDA.
• Transfer from other UAE emirates or GCC: Attested by the Ministry of Education.
• International transfer: Attested by the UAE Embassy in the respective country.

Ensure the child meets the age requirements for the grade they are applying to, as specified by the school.
