The programme is designed to support students in continuously expanding their learning and abilities. Students learn in the middle years through play-based learning and symbolic discovery. Kinder Garten kids get two full days of unstructured play classes. First-graders attend one sports period each day.

The GEMS World Academy follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years curriculum and the National Curriculum for England.

KEY STAGE 1: KG 1 to Grade 1

These are the formative years of the children where they develop in terms of creativity, intelligence and confidence. 

KEY STAGE 2: Grade 2 to Grade 5

Key Stage 2 helps build confidence, communication, and public speaking skills. Focus is put on developing deep-thinkers, risk-takers, and great communicators. 

KEY STAGE 3: Grade 6 to Grade 7

Students in the Middle Years Programme, which runs from 11 to 16 years, are expected to become engaged learners. It helps young minds gain a worldwide perspective, empathy, and the ambition to do something impactful. There are various pathways available to students, such as the IBCP, BTEC, IBDP, and A-levels.

The school bus service, which is run in collaboration with Bright Bus Transport (BBT), is available to students. Every bus is equipped with GPS tracking, CCTV cameras, seat belts, and sleep check buttons. To begin using the school transport service, parents must submit the registration form found on the school website.

GEMS World Academy has collaborated with external providers to facilitate sports activities such as capoeira, rugby, tennis, football and karate. East Sports Management coaches have ADEK approval.
