Raha International School follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, known for its comprehensive and challenging educational framework. The school offers three main IB programmes:

• Primary Years Programme (4 to 12 years):

1. • The main focus is well-rounded development through play-based inquiry, strong relationships, and interactive play areas.
   • It offers subjects in Language, Social Studies, Personal, Social, and Physical Education, Mathematics, Science, Technology, and the Arts.

• Middle Years Programme (11 to 16 years):

1. • It focuses on conceptual understanding, learning in context, and community service.
   • Subjects in the programme include Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Design, Physical and Health Education.
   • Special requirements in the programme include learning two languages and completing a personal project in their final year.

• Diploma Programme (16 to 19 years):

Applying for admission to Raha International School is a straightforward process designed to ensure a smooth experience for parents and students alike. Here are the step-by-step instructions to guide you through the application process:

• Visit the Raha International School website and complete the online application form, providing basic information such as the student's name and contact details.

• After submitting the application form, you will receive a confirmation email within two working days.

• The admissions team will inform parents about seat availability. The application will be placed on the waiting list if no seat is available.

• If a seat is available, parents will receive an invitation from the school and details regarding the assessment schedule.

• EY1 to Grade 1 applicants are exempt from formal assessment and may be invited for informal play sessions to experience the school environment.

• Grade 2 and above applicants must take a computerised cognitive test, which can be taken virtually if the applicant resides outside the UAE. Arabic language skills will also be assessed.

• The school reviews the application and assessment results, providing feedback to parents within a week.

• Once a seat is confirmed, parents receive an official offer letter and must pay a non-refundable deposit of 5% of the annual tuition fee to secure the place.

• Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded with the admission form, including a photograph, copy of the residence visa, residential address or electricity bill, GPS coordinates, completed online medical form, vaccination card, and school reports.

• For students transferring from outside Abu Dhabi, ensure the transfer certificate is appropriately attested per guidelines. For students within Abu Dhabi, no transfer certificate is required.

Raha International School partners with Seven Stars Transport Company to provide students with secure and reliable transportation. It follows all the rules and regulations made by the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DoT) to adhere to all the safety standards and guidelines. Each bus has CCTV cameras, tracking systems, and a bus monitor to ensure safety. Seven Stars handles registration, fee collection, route planning, and customer service. The annual cost of the service is AED 5,000. Students must clear their term fees to use the bus service. This comprehensive transportation system ensures a convenient and safe commute for all students.
