Ambassador International Academy offers classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 for students, under the age group of 3 to 14 years.

Early Years and Primary Schools:

The Early Years and Primary Year Programme caters to students aged 3 to 12 years, offering an international and transdisciplinary approach that extends beyond the classroom to meet the individual needs of each student.

For Early Years students (aged 3 to 6 years), the focus is on a play-based classroom environment. In contrast, the Primary section (aged 6 to 11 years) follows a concept-based syllabus to promote teamwork, critical thinking, and classroom discussions.

The PYP emphasizes inquiry and elevates learning and understanding to deeper levels. Designed for children aged 3 to 12 years, the PYP encourages them to become inquirers, innovative thinkers, effective communicators, and risk-takers.

The Middle Years Programme: 

The Middle Year Programme caters to students between the ages of 12 and 16. During this stage, the primary focus is on academic advancement and personal development to equip students for life beyond school. The MYP is offered as either a three-year or a five-year program. Students selecting the five-year option have the choice between pursuing the IB Diploma or Cambridge A-Levels based on their preferences. Those opting for the three-year program must take Cambridge IGCSE exams in Grades 9 and  10.

The IGCSE end-of-course assessment comprises written, oral, coursework, and practical examinations.

The IBDP Programme:

Students can study six subjects within the DP, with three at the standard level and three at the higher level. The available subject choices encompass:

A Level:

The A-Level program grants students the autonomy to select the subjects they wish to pursue. Typically, students opt to study three A-Level subjects, engaging in two years of concentrated study in those chosen areas. Common A-Level subject combinations often involve mathematics, further mathematics, and science subjects.

In the Northern Emirates of the United Arab Emirates, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), which controls educational institutions' growth and calibre, is a significant actor.

Ambassador International Academy welcomes students from all communities. Prospective students can initiate the admission process by using the online application form accessible on the school's website or by visiting the campus.

Upon completing the admission form, parents must submit essential documents along with an AED 500 application fee. These documents include a copy of the child's passport and the latest school or nursery report.

Students and parents can schedule an appointment with a school representative to proceed further. The admission team confirms the availability of seats for the desired grade. Once the application is approved and admission is granted, Ambassador International Dubai informs parents about the admission status and sends an offer letter. Within seven days of receiving the acceptance letter, parents are requested to respond and make the initial deposit, successfully securing the child's enrollment for the upcoming academic year.

Ambassador International Academy has age-appropriate assessments to discover a child's strengths and personal qualities. Assessment sessions are held every Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

For Grades 1 to 5 applicants, a CAT4 test is administered. Pre-KG and KG1 assessments are play-based, while KG2 undergoes a casual assessment by a Primary Years teacher. Results are based on the child's strengths, personal qualities, readiness, and ability to comprehend the AIS curriculum.

Priority is given to siblings of current students, provided seats are available. Submission of the child's passport copy and the latest school or nursery report is required. The school will email listing other documents necessary for Ambassador International Academy admissions.

Payment for Ambassador International Academy Dubai fees can be made using either a cheque or a credit/debit card.

The tuition fee covers the cost of English, Math, and Science textbooks, resources, and student card fees. Additionally, a non-refundable registration fee of AED 500 must be paid. At the time of application, a non-refundable assessment fee of AED 500 is also required, which will be adjusted against the first-term tuition fee.

The school advocates for and encourages healthy eating habits and a balanced lifestyle. A comprehensive whole-school food policy has been established for the school canteen to ensure that students have access to nutritious food and beverages. Moreover, students are encouraged to bring healthy food from home. The school actively monitors students' food choices to promote well-being.

Due to the possibility of nut allergies among students, Ambassador International Academy (AIA) strictly prohibits including any food items containing nuts.

Ambassador International Academy arranges summer, winter, and spring camps catering to students. Commencing at 08:00 am, these camps offer engaging activities such as swimming, sports, and gymnastics. The activities run until 02:00 pm, and afterwards, students can avail themselves of the school transportation service for their journey home.

Ambassador International Academy hosts seasonal camps during summer, winter, and spring, designed to cater to students' interests. Starting at 08:00 am, these camps provide a range of captivating activities, including swimming, sports, and gymnastics. The activities continue until 02:00 pm, after which students can utilize the school transportation service for their trip back home.

Ambassador International Academy employs a House system where four houses, namely Hawks, Nightingales, Ravens, and Weavers, partake in diverse sports and music competitions. Upon the academic year's conclusion, the House accumulates the highest points and is presented with a coveted cup for their achievement.

Ambassador Academy Dubai offers a variety of activities encompassing arts, culture, and sports. These activities are integrated into the syllabus as Academic Enrichment Activities, aimed at fostering the development of new skills in students. • For Pre-Kindergarten and KG1 students, extracurricular activities are planned on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 01:00 to 02:00 pm.

After-school care is available for Pre-KG and KG1 students with older siblings in the Primary classes. This service aims to accommodate parents, enabling them to pick up their children simultaneously or allowing the siblings to depart from school together.

Medical Care at Ambassador International Academy: 

At the school, there is a fully equipped clinic that adheres to the regulations set forth by the School Health Section of the Ministry of Health. A dedicated school nurse is available throughout the day to handle medical emergencies and fulfill the following responsibilities:

1. Attending to sick and injured children.
2. Regularly checking and restocking first-aid supplies monthly.
3. Administering medication to students when necessary.

If any medication needs to be administered during school hours, the nurse strictly follows a protocol. Additionally, signed or verbal permission from the parent or guardian is required, and the medication should be clearly labeled and stored in the Nurse's room. Parents are kindly requested to complete the medication form.

For streamlined communication, the D6 School Communicator is utilized mainly for interactions between the school and parents. This app is available on iTunes and Google Play Store, featuring essential details about school events on the calendar. It also includes a news and resources section containing various notices, information sheets, and school policies.

Teachers maintain regular email communication with parents, and weekly updates are sent with information about learning objectives. Furthermore, a designated Parent Rep is appointed for each class, responsible for disseminating notifications to class-specific WhatsApp groups.
