About Ambassador International Academy, Dubai

The Ambassador International Academy (AIA) in Dubai aspires to be the first school of its kind to offer a combined UK/IB curriculum. It is affiliated with the Ambassador School in Bur Dubai and the Ambassador Nursery.

Established in September 2019, AIA has seamlessly integrated the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum with the strengths of the English National curriculum. The school caters to co-educational students from Pre-KG to Grade 9, with plans to expand to higher grades. AIA is part of the Ambassador Group of Schools, which also manages two other popular schools in the region: the Ambassador School in Sharjah and the Ambassador School in Bur Dubai.

While AIA follows the English National Curriculum as its foundation, it also incorporates the principles and framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

In the Middle Years Programme, students can pursue MYP for three years (Grades 6 to 8) and then switch to iGCSEs in Grades 9 and 10, or they can choose to complete the full five-year MYP journey from Grade 6 to Grade 10. Similarly, in Grades 11 and 12, students can decide between the IB Diploma or A LEVEL, depending on their preferences and academic goals.

AIA strongly emphasizes the well-being of its students and has introduced Positive Psychology for Grades 4 and above. The school's primary goal is to nurture responsible global citizens who possess the qualities of future leaders. While academics are central to their approach, AIA also provides a well-balanced curriculum that includes Science, Humanities, Performing and Fine Arts, Language, and Sports.

Furthermore, Ambassador International Academy prides itself on being an inclusive school, providing equal opportunities to students of determination and acknowledging their integral role in the school community.
