About Clarion School, Dubai

Clarion School in Al Quoz, Dubai, was developed to change education in the emirate. It focuses on helping each child learn, think critically, and grow personally. Clarion is the only progressive American school in the UAE designed to go beyond standard academics. In this school, learning is child-centered and hands-on. It offers grades from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 7, with a plan to expand grades from Year 8 to 12.

Scholars International Group (SIG), the parent company of Clarion School, was established over 40 years ago to develop schools focused on student achievement. Clarion School is SIG's latest educational venture, currently serving around 300 students.

The school aims to shape lifelong learners who adapt, contribute, and thrive globally. The curriculum uses New York State standards, with guidance from Bank Street College of Education, adding a progressive approach to every subject.

How do I apply for the Clarion School? A Step-By-Step Process

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to applying for the Clarion School, Dubai:

  • Visit the Clarion School website and fill out the online application form.
  • Upload necessary documents such as the child’s passport, visa, Emirates ID, and recent school reports.
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee of AED 500 through the provided payment options (credit card, bank transfer, or ZENDA app).
  • Once the application is submitted, the admissions team will contact you to schedule your child’s assessment and a parent interview.
  • After the assessment, you will receive an acceptance letter if your child is offered a place.
  • To secure the spot, pay a non-refundable seat deposit of AED 5,000 within 7 days (deducted from the first-semester fee).
  • Finalise the enrollment process by paying the remaining first-semester fee before the academic year begins.

Refund Policy

    • Application & Registration Fees: Non-refundable if the student withdraws or doesn’t enrol.
  • Tuition Fees:
    • Before Term Starts: Full refund minus registration fees.
    • Within the First Week: 50% refund of the term’s fees.
    • After the First Week: No refund.

Payment Terms

  • First Semester Fees: Due before the academic year begins.
  • Second Semester Fees: Due by December 31.
  • Payments can be made via credit card, wire transfer, cheque (AED 500 fee for returned cheques), or cash.

Re-Enrollment and Withdrawal

  • Re-Enrollment Fee: A nonrefundable 10% annual tuition, applied to the first semester, is due by March 31.
  • Withdrawal: Parents must complete a form. Application and registration fees are not refunded for non-continuing students.

Additional Policies

  • Pro-Rated Fees: Available for late enrollments.
  • Discounts: 10% sibling discounts, referral benefits, and corporate partner discounts.
