Step 1: Submit an online application form.
Interested students can start the admissions process by completing the online application form available on the official DIA Al Barsha website. Ensure you have all the necessary documents ready for submission.
Step 2: Provide mandatory documents
Along with the online application form, submit the following mandatory documents:
- A copy of the student's valid UAE residence visa
- Copy of the student's passport
- Copy of the student's birth certificate in English or Arabic
- Latest copy of the student's immunisation record
- Two passport-sized photographs of the student
- Copy of the student's previous two years' report cards
- Copy of the attested transfer certificate if the applicant is transferring from overseas or other Emirates (if applicable)
- Attested KHDA transfer certificate from the previous school (if applicable)
- Confidential school report filled by the teacher (if applicable)
Step 3: Assessment
The Admissions team will contact you to schedule an assessment for your child. The assessment format depends on the student's grade level.
For KG and Grade 1 students, a general assessment will include English, mathematics, and non-verbal clues.
For Grades 2 and above, a CAT4 online test is required.
Students based in Dubai can visit the school campus for the assessment, while the admissions team will arrange an online assessment for applicants based outside the UAE.
Step 4: Interview (if required)
A face-to-face interview may be arranged if required.
Step 5: Admission decision
If your child successfully passes the assessment, you will receive a confirmation message from the admissions department. Respond to this letter within five working days to secure your child's place. Delays may result in the application being placed on hold.
Step 6: Payment
Pay the assessment fee (AED 500), which is non-refundable. This fee will be adjusted against the first-semester fee if your child is admitted to the school.
Step 7: Enrollment
Once your child's admission is confirmed, proceed with the enrolment process. Ensure your child meets the age placement criteria set by the school.
