Established in 1996, Dubai Modern Education School (DMES) is a private, co-educational institution in Al Mizhar, Dubai. The school was founded to provide a high-quality education that integrates international standards with Emirati values. Over the years, DMES has become known for its dual curriculum approach, offering both the US Curriculum and the MOE Curriculum (Ministry of Education), allowing families to choose the path that best suits their children’s educational needs.
The school’s ideology revolves around fostering innovation, global citizenship, and personal growth. DMES aims to empower students to become responsible leaders and active contributors to their communities, both locally and globally. With an emphasis on academic excellence, the school also focuses on building character, ethics, and cultural appreciation through Islamic Education and Moral Education programs.
DMES has earned NEASC Candidacy Status (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) and continues to pursue international recognition. The school has a diverse student body representing over 40 nationalities, with most Emirati students, reflecting Dubai’s multicultural environment. It also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and facilities designed to support students' holistic development.
Through its modern infrastructure and strong partnership with parents and the community, DMES remains committed to shaping future leaders.
