The school follows the French curriculum to offer exemplary education to children from kindergarten to high school in its different branches. The Oud Metha branch of Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou houses only the kindergarten section of the school. 

The school follows the French National Curriculum, which is renowned worldwide for its academic rigour. The Oud Metha branch focuses only on kindergarten students aged between 3 to 6. The syllabus is designed to primarily focus on five principles that include developing the oral capabilities of the child and gradually introducing writing, utilizing physical and art-based activities to encourage self-expression in children.

Students are given ample freedom to explore their surroundings and learn by asking questions. The teachers employ highly effective techniques such as problem-solving and play-based activities to garner maximum attention and participation from the students.

An active integration of students' senses, sensibilities, and imagination aids their academic journey into primary school.

The application process for Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou, Oud Metha, is completely online.

STEP 1: Pre- Registration:

Parents should complete the application form on the online platform EDUKA. After which scanned copies of the following documents need to be uploaded.

• Passport, Emirates ID, and Residency visa page – Both parents and child
• Applicant's recent passport-size photo in jpeg format
• In the absence of a residence visa parents can show proof of residency using proof of work, employment contract, or proof of business
• DEWA invoice
• Family book or birth certificate of the student with both the names of the parents
• Vaccination records
• Recent school certificates and records
• In the event of divorce, a copy of the judgment accompanied by a certified parental authorisation letter

An email informing about the status of the uploaded file will be sent to the parents

STEP 2: Processing and Answers

When a student who has previously been educated under the AEFE network or contract in France gets admitted into the school, the parents are required to validate the email from the school and pay a certain amount to secure their child's seat in the school.

If the student is not part of the AEFE network or is under contract in France, they must take a positioning test, which costs AED 500. After passing the test, parents will receive an email informing them of the results. The tuition fee must be paid within two weeks of receiving this email.

Admission will be granted to students on the waitlist only if seats are available.

STEP 3: Joining

Parents should submit the current year's school booklet as final documentation once admission is completed.
