In 2003, the school started operating for children. Lycee Francais International School follows the French educational plan, giving the children advanced education. How to Apply for Lycee Francais International School?

The following is the step-by-step guide to applying for Lycee Francais International School:

 

Step 1: You can call or email the school for the admission inquiry and book a school tour.

Step 2: Take a tour of the school provided by the school administration. A tour guide will accompany you on the premises. The school offers campus tours on Sundays at 2:30 pm.

Step 3: Complete the application form and submit the necessary documents.

Step 4: Once the documents are verified, you’ll receive the offer to join the school. Once you pay the registration fee, you can successfully enroll in the school.

Below are the documents you need to submit for the application process:

  • The birth certificate of the child is required. The certificate should be in English or  Arabic.
  • A copy of the court judgement is required in case of divorce.
  • Schools need the child's father’s passport along with a UAE Residence Visa.
  • A copy of the father’s or sponsor’s Emirates ID.
  • The residence visa of the student, whenever it gets established and the student’s passport.
  • An established Emirates ID of the student. If the student doesn’t have an established ID, then the student can submit the same after establishing the Emirates ID.
  • A certificate of radiation or an exit is required.
  • For students coming from Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain), the certificate must be stamped only by the Ministry of National Education.
  • For students coming from other countries, the certificate must be signed and stamped only by the head of the school.
  • For students applying from Arab countries outside the emirates, this certificate must be stamped by the Ministry of National Education, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country in which the school is located and by the UAE embassy.
  • Quarterly reports, transcripts and school record book for the last and current years.
  • A medical file must be provided to the nurse at the start of the school year.
  • Nursery reports.

There are some policies regarding the departure of the student from the school. These policies come into action when a student leaves the school. These policies are: 

  • Parents need to collect French certificates from the school if the child leaves the school for a country outside the Gulf region at the end of the year.
  • Suppose the student is departing from Dubai permanently for another emirate or another Arab country. In that case, AED 120 needs to be paid by parents for a cancellation certificate in Arabic and French.
  • Suppose the student is changing schools but will remain in Dubai. In that case, the student’s file will be transferred electronically from the school. French certificates need to be collected by the parents from the administration department.
