Kindergarten (KG1 & KG2)

In Kindergarten, children develop important skills in a fun and engaging environment. The focus is on learning through play and interaction, helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Elementary School (Grades 1–5)

Elementary school helps children build a strong base for future learning. It’s all about exploring new ideas, solving problems, and working together. Students start learning a wide range of subjects and how to apply their knowledge.

Middle School (Grades 6–8)

Middle school is about growing emotionally, socially, and academically. Students dive deeper into subjects and develop skills that prepare them for high school and beyond.

High School (Grades 9–12)

In high school, students focus on developing critical thinking and preparing for university. They get to choose some of their subjects based on their interests and future goals.

Here are the steps that you need to follow to get your kid into NAIS:

• Start by filling out the online application form available on the NAIS website. Ensure all details are accurate.
• Once the application is submitted, the school will schedule an assessment for Grades 1 and above (Math and English tests). Kindergarten applicants (KG1 and KG2) will have an interview with the principal.
• After the assessment, NAIS will review the application and notify you of the decision, usually within a few days of acceptance. Within five days, confirm the student's placement by paying the non-refundable registration fee and the first term's tuition fee.

Documents Required

Submit the following documents with your application:

• Four recent passport-sized photographs
• Two copies of the student's birth certificate (for KG1 to Grade 1 applicants)
• Original transfer certificate (for KG2 to Grade 12 applicants)
• Progress report from the previous school
• Two copies each of the student's and parents' passports, residency visas, and Emirates IDs
• Health care and vaccination records
• Completed transportation form (if required)

Age Requirements for Admission

The age requirements for admission at North American International School are based on the student's age as of August 31st. These guidelines ensure that children are placed in the appropriate grade level according to their developmental stage, helping them academically and socially thrive.
