Admission Process with Regulatory Requirements

Have a look at the regulatory requirements for the admission process for each stage:

Foundation Stage

The completion of the registration requirements and the school's assessment of the child's learning needs will be considered. Although children won't have their academic talents evaluated, they can meet in small groups with the school teaching team during interactive sessions to find out the following:

  • The capacity to operate without parental supervision.
  • Conversation ability with adults.
  • Adhere to simple instructions.
  • FS1 students must be toilet trained.

Key Stage 1 and 2

The age requirement outlined in the regulatory standards and the completion of the registration criteria determines admission to Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3 through 6). Placement assessments may be carried out only as a baseline to determine the necessary level of support. A meeting with a primary school team member may be scheduled if required.

For local applicants, these evaluations will take place on the school campus. Where appropriate, assessments can be scheduled online under a certified teacher's guidance for applicants outside the UAE.

Documents Required

The documents required at the time of registration are:

  • A scanned copy of the student's Unified Identity Number (UID)-containing passport and residence visa.
  • A Family Book copy for UAE nationals.
