How to Apply for Our Own High School, Al Warqaa? Step-by-Step Process

The school welcomes students from diverse religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, with priority given to siblings of current students.

Age Criteria: Children must meet strict age requirements. Grade 1 students must be 6 years old by December 31st of the application year.

Online Enrolment: Parents must complete the online enrolment form available each October for new admissions.

Service Request Number: Parents receive a service request number upon submission, which is essential for tracking the application.

Assessment Process:

  • Grade 1: Includes an interactive session with a supervisor and counsellor.
  • Grade 2 and Above: Students must take an entrance exam instead of an interactive session.

All admissions are subject to approval by the KHDA. Parents will need to submit the following documents:

  • 4 recent passport-size photographs of the candidate
  • One recent stamp-size picture of the candidate.
  • Three copies of the candidate’s Emirates ID card
  • 2 copies of the candidate’s passport with a valid UAE residence visa
  • 2 copies of the parents’ Emirates ID card
  • 2 copies of the candidate’s latest academic record (mark sheet)
  • Transfer certificate

After registering with KHDA, parents must sign the parent-school contract to complete the admission process. 

Transfer Process for Students

  • Within Dubai Transfers: No attestation is required for the Transfer Certificate (TC). Parents must bring their and the student's original TC and Emirates IDs.
  • Transfers from Other Emirates: The TC must be attested by the Ministry of Education of the respective Emirate. Parents should present the attested TC, Emirates IDs of the parent and student and previous academic records.
  • Transfers from India: The TC must be certified by the District Education Officer or CBSE/ICSE board. It must also be attested by the Indian Consulate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dubai.
