Application Process for Raffles World Academy Dubai in Detailed

Raffles World Academy is committed to addressing the unique needs of each student, comprising those with special educational needs (SEN). Parents seeking admission for students with specific learning requirements have to provide a comprehensive report along with their application. This report may include Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and evaluations.

Parents need to complete the application via the school's website. If there are no available seats, the applicant is placed on a waiting list. It's important to note that waiting lists do not automatically carry over to the upcoming academic year. Hence applicants are requested to re-apply for the upcoming year. The assessment focuses on basic subjects such as English and Mathematics for Pre-KG, KG-1, KG-2, FS2, and Year 1 applicants. All other grades and levels are required to undergo the CAT4 digital testing. The admission team will reach out to parents to make arrangements for the entrance test.

  • For Kindergarten and 1st Standard students and they conduct a paper-based test.
  • For 2nd Standard and above, the student has to clear CAT4 digital test through an online platform.
  • For Pre-Kindergarten to 1st Standard, aspirants are evaluated for school readiness and independence level.

After the assessment is conducted and the school reviews the student's last 2-year school report, the application undergoes evaluation. After getting accepted and receiving an offer, the parents are required to respond within five days to confirm the place.

RWA offers the option for evaluations of aspirants living outside the UAE. Physical interviews may also be arranged if deemed necessary by the principal/ admission officer.
