Here’s how parents can apply for their child at the School of Modern Skills:
- Fill out the application form. You can get it online or at the school’s campus.
- After completing the form, submit it with an admission fee of AED 350 (non-refundable).
- The school will then schedule an entrance exam and an interview with the Student Support Services specialist to assess the child’s academic level and needs.
- If your child is accepted, you will receive an admission offer from the school.
- To secure the child’s seat, you must pay a reservation fee of AED 1,500 and all necessary personal, medical, and academic documents.
Documents Required
Parents applying for their child’s admission to the School of Modern Skills must get the following documents:
- Student’s photograph
- Emirates ID copies (for both the child and parents)
- Passport copies (for both the child and parents)
- Birth certificate of the child
- UAE residence visa copies (for both the child and parents)
- Previous school report (attested, if applicable)
- Transfer certificate (attested by relevant authorities if the child is transferring from another school)
- Medical records, including vaccination history

Payment Schedule
School fees can be paid in three instalments:
- 50% of the total fee by 15th August.
- 25% by 1st December.
- 25% by 1st March.
Seat Reservation Fee
- 10% of the total tuition fee for the academic year.
- This fee is non-refundable unless the family relocates outside Dubai before the academic year starts and will be deducted from the first term fee.
Scholarship and Discounts
- Staff Discount: 45% tuition discount for up to two children of School of Modern Skills employees.
- Holy Quran Memorisation Discount: Students who have memorised the entire Quran will receive a 20% tuition discount upon passing the relevant tests.
- Referral Rewards: AED 500 reward for each successful new student referral by current parents.
Age Requirements for Admission

- The school does not refuse admission based solely on a student’s experience of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- No medical diagnosis is required as a condition for admission.
- The school makes reasonable adjustments to its admission procedures and services to accommodate the needs of students with SEND.
- The school works with parents and Student Support Services to assess students' needs and determine the appropriate support and accommodations.
Documents Required
Parents need to submit the below documents for their child's enrollment. These documents help the school verify the student's identity, previous education, and other essential information.
- Student's recent photograph
- Emirates ID copies (for student and both parents)
- Passport copies (for student and both parents)
- Copy of the student's birth certificate
- UAE visa copies (for student and both parents)
- Copy of Family Book (for UAE nationals)
Transfer Documents
- Final school report and Transfer Certificate: These documents should be stamped by the Ministry of Education and the school. If transferring from a different country, the documents must also be stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in that country.
Leaving Certificate: The leaving certificate from the previous school is mandatory for students transferring within the UAE. The student will be placed in the corresponding grade as per the leaving certificate.
