Admission and Fees

How to Apply for Uptown School? Step-by-Step Process

Applying for admission to Uptown School is a simple three-step process. Follow these steps to complete your child's enrollment:

Step 1: Complete the online application form by visiting the Uptown School website.

  • Submit the required documents (see the list below).
  • Pay the AED 500 non-refundable application fee (plus 5% VAT).
  • You will receive an acknowledgement email confirming the submission.

Step 2:  After applying, you will receive an email with instructions on scheduling an appointment with the admissions team. Your child will undergo an internal placement assessment to evaluate their academic skills. Once the evaluation is completed, the school will review the application and issue a Letter of Acceptance if approved.

Step 3: To confirm your child’s place, you must:

  • Sign the Offer Letter as an acceptance of the admission.
  • Pay the AED 4,000 non-refundable deposit fee deducted from the total tuition fee.

If you are transferring from another school, submit the Transfer Certificate (TC) attested by KHDA or the relevant education authority.

Documents Required for Admission:

  • Copy of the child’s passport
  • Copy of parent/guardian’s passport
  • Copy of the last two years of school reports signed and stamped by the school
  • Copy of any diagnostic, educational, or psychological assessments (if applicable)
  • Application Fee Payment (AED 500 + 5% VAT)

The application fee of AED 500 (+5% VAT) is non-refundable and must be paid during admission. A new student registration fee of AED 4,000 is required to secure a seat and is adjusted against the tuition fee. Returning students must pay a re-registration fee of AED 2,000 to confirm their place for the next academic year. A 10% sibling discount is available for the third and subsequent child attending any Taaleem school in Dubai. Additional optional charges include transport fees (AED 5,000 - 15,000), uniforms (AED 300 - 2,000), extracurricular activities (AED 50 - 3,000), and school meals (AED 5,000 - 6,000).
