Here’s a step-by-step guide to applying for admission at GEMS Winchester School Fujairah:
Step 1: Submit the Online Application
Start the application by visiting the school’s website and completing the online form. Ensure all information is accurate. After submission, you’ll receive an inquiry number via email; save it for follow-up communication.
Step 2: Submit the Required Documents
- A copy of the student’s passport and UAE residence visa
- Copies of the student’s and parents’ Emirates ID cards
- Original Emirates ID of the student and parents for verification
- Family Book (Khalasat Alqaid) if the student is a UAE National
- Two copies of the student’s vaccination record
- Four recent passport-size photographs
- Recent school report from the student’s current or previous school
- Original Transfer Certificate, duly attested
*If applicable, submit any special education plans (IEPs) or relevant documents to support your child’s application.
Step 3: Pay the Registration Fee
Upon acceptance of your application, you will be prompted to pay a non-refundable registration and enrollment fee of AED 500. If your child is enrolled, this fee is adjustable against the first term’s tuition.
Step 4: Take the Test or Interview
The school will reach out to schedule an assessment or interview. Students applying for Year 2 and above must take an English assessment by a trained team to evaluate their readiness and grade placement.
Step 5: Review Admission Decision
The school will review the assessment results, prior school reports, and seat availability. Depending on seat availability, preference is given to siblings of current students.
Step 6: Complete Enrollment
Upon acceptance, the school will notify you with instructions for completing the enrollment process. Once enrolled, your child’s placement is confirmed, and the school will provide additional information about orientation and starting dates.
