The Ras Al Khaimah American Academy (RAKAA), Ras Al Khaimah, was established by His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qassimi in 2008 to serve the Ras Al Khaimah community. It has two sections: an all-girls school and an all-boys school for grades 4 to 12. Mixed-gender classes are given to students from KG1 to grade 3.
RAKAA combines the international educational model with Emirati values and faith. It received an ‘outstanding’ rating from COGNIA, a US Accreditation Board for International Schools. MOE also rated it ‘developed’ for its work in digital learning.
The school follows the motto "share, care, empower, and inspire." The school follows the American curriculum and provides education from KG1 to Grade 12, and the medium of instruction is English. However, children are taught to communicate in both English and Arabic.
Ras Al Khaimah American Academy offers state-of-the-art facilities, including spacious classrooms and corridors, ICT labs, elevators, a multi-purpose hall, play areas, and parking spaces.
