The Emirates National School Sharjah (TENS) was established to enable students to channel their knowledge and resources to contribute to society. The school follows an approach of the four E's—equip, enlighten, enrich, and empower for enhancing learning and research.
TENS delivers education based on the CBSE Board to students from kindergarten to grade 12. Apart from academics, the students learn important values of hard work, discipline, honesty, and excellence through value-based learning. The school is renowned for its commitment to delivering a holistic learning experience and being among the UAE’s top CBSE Board’s 10th and 12th performers.
Spread over an area of approximately 11,700 square metres, The Emirates National School Sharjah is home to 104 classrooms, over 200 teachers, and nearly 3,000 students. It provides a wide range of facilities in the form of societies, labs, and clubs.
It has several labs, including computer, physics, biology, and chemistry labs, to enable practical and experiential learning. The school also provides safe and secure transportation facilities to select locations in Sharjah, Ajman, and Dubai.
Clubs like arts and crafts, ENESCO, film society, literary club, and quiz club help students develop and nurture their interests. The Emirates National School (TENS) also celebrates many events throughout the year, such as World Book Day, World Yoga Day, and World Environment Day. It hosts several events, including inter-school football matches, art exhibitions, readathons, and debate competitions.
TENS educational aims, vision, mission, and teaching methodologies equip students with the best knowledge, resources, and skills to become functional and contributing members of society.
